What are Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids?
Polyunsaturated
fatty acids are very important for normal growth and development. One type of
polyunsaturated fatty acid is called omega-3 fatty acids - which is found in
fish, fish oil, and other foods. Polyunsaturated fatty acid may affect
the growth of prostate cancer.

What is Docosahexaenoic Acid?
Docosahexaenoic
Acid (DHA)
is an omega-3 fatty acid, belongs to the class of nutrients called essential
fatty acids (EFA).
Recent studies have shown that DHA reduces the level of triglycerides in
blood.
Docosahexaenoic Acid is essential for normal visual and neurological development in infants.
Docosahexaenoic
Acid deficiency
plays an important role in a group of congenital diseases called peroxisomal
disorders. These disorders are identified after the physician finds
damage to the protective covering (myelin) around nerve cells. The worst
of these peroxisomal disorders is called , Zellweger’s syndrome. and
although rare, is life-threatening within the first year of life. It has been
shown that by adding Docosahexaenoic
Acid daily, in the amounts of 100-600 mg of Docosahexaenoic
Acid - that this increases the blood levels of Docosahexaenoic
Acid, which, in turn, protects the myelin, and improves symptoms of this
potentially devastating disorder.
Where is Docosahexaenoic Acid
found?
By oral supplementation, in our all-natural DHA Algal Oil, of course! Docosahexaenoic Acid is also naturally found in cold-water fish, including; albacore tuna, anchovies, black cod, herring, mackerel, salmon, sardines, and are very rich sources of Docosahexaenoic Acid and EPA.
Cod
liver oil also contains large amounts of DHA and EPA. Certain microalgae
contain DHA and are used as a vegetarian source of this nutrient in some
supplements. Most fish oil supplements contain 12% DHA.
What is DHA Algal Oil?
Polyunsaturated fatty acids, including docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), are natural ingredients in the normal human diet.
DHA Algal Oil is produced through the use of the non-toxigenic and non-pathogenic marine protist, Ulkenia sp.
The safety of DHA Algal Oil was assessed in a toxicity study and in genotoxicity studies. In a 90-day study, rats were orally administered water or DHA-algal oil at concentrations of 0, 500, 1000, and 2000 mg/kg in combination with 2000, 1500, 1000 or 0 mg/kg DHA-containing fish oil, respectively. Additional animals were administered water, 2000 mg/kg DHA Algal Oil, or 2000 mg/kg fish oil for 90 days, followed by a 4-week recovery phase.
No treatment-related effects were observed in clinical observations, food and water consumption, mortality, gross pathology, and histopathology. Increased body weights and liver weights in oil-treated groups were attributed to the large lipid load and were not regarded as toxicologically significant.
Furthermore, no treatment-related differences in the measured parameters between the DHA Algal Oil and fish oil groups were detected.
In genotoxicity experiments, DHA Algal Oil exerted no mutagenic activity in various bacterial strains, nor did it induce chromosomal aberrations in Chinese hamster fibroblast cells.
The results
above support the safety of DHA Algal Oil
as a dietary source of docosahexaenoic acid
(DHA).

What is Chlorophyceae?
The chlorophyceae algae strain of algae is a large and important group of freshwater green algae. The chlorophyceae algae strain includes some of the most common species of algae as well as many members that are important both ecologically and scientifically.
Chlorophyceae
algae has been recognized by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as
a promising algae strain for B100
Biodiesel production as
chlorophyceae algae has one of the highest amounts
of algal oil, or lipid content.
What is Neochloris Oleoabundans?
Neochloris Oleoabundans is a strain of microalgae belonging to the class of chlorophyceae and one of the most promising of all algae, for producing B100 Biodiesel.
We
provide Neochloris Oleoabundans
as well as Photobioreactors and
biodiesel and biofuels consulting services for building new biofuels plants and
selecting the optimum biomass
feedstock.
What
is Chlorella Vulgaris?
Chlorella Vulgaris is one of the most studied and researched of all algae as a resource for replacing fossil fuels. Chlorella Vulgaris algae contain lipids that are used to produce renewable and "carbon free energy" in the form of B100 Biodiesel. Chlorella Vulgaris algae are unicellular and from 5 to 10 μm in size.
In addition to providing transportation, Chlorella Vulgaris has recently been successful in reducing, and sometimes - preventing the side effects from chemotherapy treatments.
Chlorella Vulgaris has also been proven to reduce the risk of getting cancer. This is due to the fact that Chlorella Vulgaris contains the highest known source of chlorophyll content.
Chlorella Vulgaris
has
recently sold for as much as $43,000 per ton.
What
is
Botryococcus Braunii?
Botryococcus Braunii is a strain of algae that is known as a green colonial
microalgae.
Botryococcus Braunii is found worldwide in freshwater lakes, brackish lakes and waters, reservoirs and ponds.
Lately, Botryococcus Braunii algae has gained a great deal of interest in the scientific community and the biofuels and biodiesel industries due to its ability to synthesize and accumulate huge amount of various lipids.
The lipids contained in Botryococcus Braunii are seen as a solution for fossil fuels as the lipids in Botryococcus Braunii can be converted in to B100 Biodiesel and other fuels and chemicals.
Scientists have determined in their research and analysis of crude petroleum and earth sediments that Botryococcus Braunii was the major biological partner to form the crude oil and fossil fuel from millions of years ago. The Botryococcus Braunii algae produced various types of hydrocarbons out of which "botryococcnes" are the most important as it produced the fossil fuels and petroleum in the highest quantities. In addition, botryococcnes have many properties that are almost identical to the contents of crude oil.
What
is Algae Protein?
Algae is an excellent source of protein for both people and animals.
All strains of algae are naturally rich in protein with some strains having more protein content than others.
The value of the algae protein for feed may be as valuable as the algae oil which is used in the production of B100 Biodiesel.
